第2條 本法第三條所定之無記名單記投票法，以圈選行之。
Article 2 Secret suffrage prescribed in Article 3 of the Law shall be conducted by marking on ballots.
第2-1條 (居住期間之計算)本法第四條居住期間之計算所依據之戶籍登記，應由戶籍機關切實查察，其遷入登記不實者，應依法處理。
Article 2- 1 The household registration that the calculation of the period of residence prescribed in Article 4 of the Law based on shall be inspected positively, and any false registration of moving in shall be punished according to the relevant regulation.
前項居住期間之計算，遇有於投票日前二十日戶籍登記簿載明遷出登記，而於投票日前二十日以後，始依戶籍法規定撤銷遷出者，其居住期間不繼續計算。
If there is a record of registration of moving out 20 days before the balloting day according to household registration book during the preceding calculation of the period of residence and actually moving out according to the household regulations within 20 days before the balloting day, the period of residence would not be counted continuously.
第3條 (期間之計算)本法所定各種期間，包括例假日計算。
Article 3 All time periods prescribed in the Law includes national holidays.
第4條 各級選舉委員會依本法第七條之規定辦理選舉時，其主辦之選舉委員會區分如左：
Article 4 When election commission at all levels hold election in accordance with Article 7 of the Law, the authorizing election commissions are divided as followed:
一國民大會代表區域選舉，由直轄市、縣(市)選舉委員會主辦。
1.Election of delegate of National Assembly would be held by the Municipal, Hsien (city) Election Commissions.
二立法委員區域選舉，由省(市)選舉委員會主辦。
2.Election of legislators would be held by Provincial (City) Election Commissions.
However, when the election areas of election of legislators are divided by Hsien (City), it shall be held by Hsien (City) Election Commission.
但立法委員區域選舉，省按縣(市)劃分選舉區時，由縣(市)選舉委員會主辦。
2.Election of legislators would be held by Provincial (City) Election Commissions.
However, when the election areas of election of legislators are divided by Hsien (City), it shall be held by Hsien (City) Election Commission.
三國民大會代表及立法委員山胞選舉，由省(市)選舉委員會主辦。
3.Election of delegate of National Assembly and legislators elected from aboriginal tribes shall be held by the Provincial (City) Election Commission.
四中央公職人員全國不分區、僑居國外國民選舉，由中央選舉委員會主辦。

Central public officials elected in an election having a nation-wide constituency or have been claiming to represent overseas Chinese shall be held by the Central Election Commission.
五省(市)議員選舉，由直轄市、縣(市)選舉委員會主辦。
5.Election of Provincial (City) councilman shall be held by Municipal, Hsien (City) Election Commissions.
However, election of Provincial councilman elected from aboriginal tribes shall be held by the Provincial Election Commission.
但省議員山胞選舉，由省選舉委員會主辦。

六省(市)長選舉，由省(市)選舉委員會主辦。

七縣(市)議員、縣(市)長選舉，由縣(市)選舉委員會主辦。
7.Hsien (City) election commission shall be in charge of the election of Hsien (City) councilman and Hsien (City) mayor.
八鄉(鎮、市)民代表、鄉(鎮、市)長、村、里長選舉，由直轄市、縣(市)選舉委員會主辦，並得指揮鄉(鎮、市、區)公所辦理之。
8.Election of Hsiang (Chen, Shih) representative, Hsiang (Chen, Shih) chief, Tsn, Li leader shall be held by Municipal, Hsien (City) election commission and supervise Hsiang (Chen, Shih, Ch) offices executing the election.
前項規定於公職人員之罷免準用之。
The preceding paragraph shall be applied to the recall of public officials.
第5-1條 (選務作業中心設置要點)依本法第七條第六項設置之辦理選務單位為選務作業中心，其設置要點由省(市)選舉委員會定之。
Article 5- 1 Regulations for the establishment of election affair center, which is specified in Paragraph 6, Article 7 of the Law, shall be prescribed by the Provincial (Municipal) Election Commission.
第5-2條 (辦理選舉期間、罷免期間)本法第七條第六項所稱辦理選舉期間及第十條所稱辦理選舉、罷免期間，由中央選舉委員會規定之。
Article 5- 2 The period of conducting election and recall, which are mentioned in Paragraph 6, Article 7 and Article 10 of the Law, shall be prescribed by the Central Election Commission.
本法第八十七條之一所稱辦理選舉期間，係指自發布選舉公告之日起，至當選人名單公告之日止。
The period of conducting election mentioned in Article 87-1 of the Law means the day of election proclamation until the day of proclamation of the list of the elected.
本法第八十七條之一所稱辦理罷免期間，係指自罷免案提議人名冊公告閱覽之日起至罷免投票結果公告之日止。
The period of conducting recall mentioned in Article 87-1 of the Law means the day of proclamation of recall case until the day of proclamation of the result of recall balloting.
第5-3條 本法第十一條第一項第八款所定當選證書，由主管選舉委員會製發。
Article 5- 3 Election Certificate prescribed in Subparagraph 8, Paragraph 1 of Article 11 of the Law shall be prepared and issued by the authorizing Election Commission.
第8條 本法第十六條第一項所稱山胞係指自由地區之平地山胞及山地山胞。
Article 8 Public official representing aboriginal tribes prescribed in Paragraph 1, Article 16 of the Law means aboriginals who live either in the mountains or not.
第20條 (編造選舉人名冊之監督)戶籍機關依本法編造選舉人名冊時，受直轄市、縣(市)選舉委員會之指導監督。
Article 20 The household registration authority shall be supervised by the Municipal City and Hsien (City) Election Commissions in making electoral registers according to the Law.
第21條 本法第二十三條及第二十五條所定選舉人名冊，得分別或合併編造，按投票所分開編訂，加蓋編造機關印信。
Article 21 The election register prescribed in Article 23 and Article 25 of the Law shall be made separately or jointly based on the actual situation, and, if in the case of being made separately, the electoral register shall be separated by different poll stations and affixed seal by the authority in charge of making electoral register.
