耶溪采蓮女，
A maiden gathers lotus in the creek;
見客棹歌回。
Singing, she turns round, seeing passers-by.
笑入荷花去，
Smiling, she hides 'mid lotus blooms her cheek
佯羞不出來。
And won't appear again: she seems so shy.
