楚成王贅諸侯，使魯君為僕。
King Cheng of Chu121 called an assemblage of the various lords together and had the ruler of Lu play the role of an attendant.
魯君致大夫而謀曰：「我雖小，亦周之建國也。
The Lu ruler summoned his officers for a consultation and said, “Though our state is small, it was established by the house of Zhou.
今成王以我為僕，可乎？」
But now King Cheng is treating me as a servant.
Is this permissible?
