聖人之衣也,便體以安身;其食也,安於腹。
The clothing of the sages was suited to their frames and thus conducive to comfort.
Their food was limited to what could lie comfortably in their stomachs.
適衣節食,不聽口目。
They made their clothing appropriate, controlled what they ate, and ignored the demands of their mouths and eyes.
