初六：拔茅茹以其汇贞吉亨。
When you pull up the reeds, the roots are entangled.Things of a kind cling together.There will be good fortune and success.
六二：包承小人吉大人否亨。
The second SIX, divided, shows its subject patient and obedient.To the small man (comporting himself so) there will be good fortune.If the great man (comport himself) as the distress and obstruction require, he will have success.
六三：包羞。
The third SIX, divided, shows its subject ashamed of the purpose folded (in his breast).
九四：有命无咎畴离祉。
When you follow heaven's will, you will not receive any blame.Your companions will share the benefit.
九五：休否大人吉其亡其亡系于苞桑。
Impediments will be removed: this is a sign of good omen for the great man.Vigilance against potential danger is the source of safety and solidarity.
上九：倾否先否后喜。
Impediments will be removed, at first you will have worry and then you will rejoice.
