初六：谦谦君子用涉大川吉。

六二：鸣谦贞吉。
The second SIX, divided, shows us humility that has made itself recognized.With firm correctness there will be good fortune.
九三：劳谦君子有终吉。
Meritorious but modest, the gentleman is like this all his life; he will have good fortune.
六四：无不利撝谦。
You will prosper in every respect if you practise modesty.
六五：不富以其邻利用侵伐无不利。
Modesty wins support from your neighbours.It is time to be on the offensive.You will be ever victorious.
上六：鸣谦利用行师征邑国。
Since you are known for modesty, it is time to take military action in order to pacify your own country.
