Recently two major events have taken place in our country: one was the student disturbances and the other the replacement of the General Secretary of our Party.
这两件事是有联系的，我们已经作了处理。
The two events are related, and we have dealt with both of them.
为什么学生会闹事？
根本上是反映了我们领导上的软弱。
Why did the students create disturbances?
Basically, it was because of weak leadership.
我们讲坚持四项基本原则，就需要经常用四项基本原则教育人民。
Since we call for upholding the Four Cardinal Principles, we must conduct constant education in these principles among the people.
