吹我罗衣裾。
That blows upon my silken dress at ease.
青袍似春草，
Like green grass, my man's robe waves back and forth,
草长条风舒。
Fluttering in the wind from east and north.
朝登津梁上，
I go and linger on the bridge at dawn
褰裳望所思。
And wish my man would turn up in the morn.
安得抱柱信，
Oh that my man and I be heart to heart
皎日以为期？
And swear that we shall never stay apart!
