Off and on its gaze will backward stray.
When a Tartar horse has gone awry,
For its companions it will always cry.
Like two dragons soaring to the sky,
On wide diverging pathways we shall fly.
The stringed music will serve as a pain relief,
To rid ourselves of the heartbreaking grief.
When I play the Wanderer's Melody first;
From me woe and sorrow strongly burst!
The music seems to utter sighs suppressed,
In sobbing cries and remorse depressed.
The stirring strains go on to pour and roar,
Filling us with grievous woes of yore.
