怀着倾慕的心来到江汉，
I got to know the grace of Mount Jingshan.
始知楚塞长。
To southward side the mount connects Tongbai;
才知道楚国的要塞奇险深长。
Toward the west the Luyang Pass does lie.
南关绕桐柏，
In open fields, no shadows are in sight;
桐柏山围绕南边的关隘，
The autumn sun is shedding its cool light.
西岳出鲁阳。
Through the trees the sad wind blows aloud;
西来的要道须越过鲁阳。
The rising flood is merged into the cloud.
寒郊无留影，
What am I to do at the end of the year?
郊野的树叶已经落尽，
My robes are moistened by my every tear.
秋日悬清光。
The lute is laid aside and wet with dew;
悬空的秋日普照清光。
The cups are lying there to wait for you.
悲风挠重林，
First comes the tune of Pain and Cold so sad,
