十五嫁为卢家妇，
She was married to Lu when she was fifteen;
十六生儿字阿侯。
She gave birth to a son when she was sixteen.
卢家兰室桂为梁，
Lu's house is built of orchid and cassia trees,
中有郁金苏合香。
With circuma and storax scent in the breeze.
头上金钗十二行，
She wears on her head twelve pins of gold,
步下丝履五文章。
On her feet shoes with patterns manifold.
珊瑚挂镜烂生光，
She has a coral mirror for her to use
平头奴子擎履箱。
And has a servant-maid to carry shoes.
