热不息恶木阴。

I thirst, I won’t stay by Bad Tree when the heat is worst.

整驾肃时命,
Is it because Bad Tree has no limb or branch? No, because a noble man is always staunch.
杖策将远寻。
饥食猛虎窟,
With my cart ready at the king’s decree, An arduous journey is ahead of me.
寒栖野雀林。
日归功未建,
When I’m hungry, I eat in the tiger’s den;
时往岁载阴。
崇云临岸骇,
When I’m tired, I stay in woods with my men.
鸣条随风吟。
静言幽谷底,
With the passage of fruitless days I spend,
长啸高山岑。
急弦无懦响,
The year will soon enough approach its end. Near the bank, clouds rise into the sky;
