抗言谈在昔。
There’s no need for a spacious hut instead
奇文共欣赏，
If it can keep rain off my mat and bed.
疑义相与析。
My neighbours come to my hut now and then,
春秋多佳日，
To talk about the ancient things and men.
登高赋新诗。
We enjoy amazing essays and read aloud;
农务各自归，
From puzzling sections we remove the cloud.
闲暇辄相思。
In spring and autumn there are sunny days
