The poplar and willow flowers are on the wing.
春风一夜入闺闼，
When spring breeze blows at the maid without a spouse,
杨花飘荡落南家。
The Poplar Flower floats into the southern house.
含情出户脚无力，
The maiden leaves her house without sleep
拾得杨花泪沾臆。
And starts to pick the poplar flowers and weep.
秋去春还双燕子，
In pairs the swallows fly along their route;
愿衔杨花入窠里。
She hopes that Poplar Flower will follow suit.
