There're but old trees by city wall,
日夕連秋聲。
From dawn till dusk but Autumn's song.
魯酒不可醉，
I can't be soothed by wine of Lu,
齊歌空復情。
Nor moved by local melody.
思君若汶水，
Like River Wen I think of you,
浩蕩寄南征。
Whose waves roll southward endlessly.
