葛之覃兮，施于中谷。

The vines outspread and trail / In the midst of the vale. Their leaves grow lush on soil, / So good to cut and boil And make cloth coarse or fine. / Who wears it likes the vine.
言告师氏，言告言归。
薄污我私，薄澣我衣。
害澣害否，归宁父母 。
I tell Mother-in-law / Soon I will homeward go. I'll wash my undershirt / And rinse my outerskirt. My dress cleaned, I'll appear / Before my parents dear.
