Seeking rewards, a hundred blessings, Getting sons and grandsons in their thousands, Solenm and majestic, Bringing good to lords and princes, Never erring or forgetting, Following faithfully the old statutes.
威仪抑抑，德音秩秩。
无怨无恶，率由群匹。
受福无疆，四方之纲。
Grave in deportment, Of reputation consistent, Without malice or hate, Following the way of all his peers, Receiving blessings limitless, Chain-thread and master-strand of all the lands.
之纲之纪，燕及朋友。
百辟卿士，媚于天子。
不解于位，民之攸塈。
Their chain-thread, master-strand; A comfort to his friends, To all princes and ministers; Loved by the Son of Heaven, Never slackening at his task, He in whom the common people put their trust.
