Once, when Jianzi of Zhao110 went on an excursion with Luan Ji, he wanted to have Luan Ji cast into the Yellow River, saying, “I have been fond of music and women, and Luan Ji has produced them; I have been fond of palaces and pavilions, and Luan Ji has had them made; I have been fond of fine horses and skillful drivers, and Luan Ji has sought them out.
