“I fear I must decline.” “Then in what capacity do you serve me, sir?” asked Lord Jing.
夫子於寡人奚為者也？
“I serve the altars of the grain and soil,” replied Yanzi.
」對曰：「社稷之臣也。
」公曰：「何謂社稷之臣？」
“What do you mean by serving the altars of the grain and soil?” asked Lord Jing.
