其身體不足觀也，其勇力不足憚也，其先祖不足稱也，其族姓不足道也，然而可以聞四方而昭於諸侯者，其惟學乎！
His appearance is unremarkable, his physical prowess is not such as to cause anyone alarm, his ancestors are not worth recounting, and his clan is undistinguished; but, if one wishes to learn about the four quarters of the earth and profit from the example of the vassal lords, only study will do!

』夫學之謂也。」
