遇勝輒流連。
Burning incense attracts me to go where
焚香引幽步，
I may have vegetable feast and tea.
酌茗開淨筵。
The gentle rain stops and then starts again,
微雨止還作，
The little window looks gloomy and clean.
小窗幽更妍。
Shut out from sunlight by the hills, the plain
盆山不見日，
Is overspread with grass and trees so green.
草木自蒼然。
When I ascend the peak O pagoda, all
忽登最高塔，
The boundless land extends before my eyes.
眼界窮大千。
The Northern Peak o'erlooks the city wall;
卞峰照城郭，
On the Lake Zhenru float the cloudy skies.
震澤浮雲天。
A quiet place affords me keen delight.
深沉既可喜，
In space immense I feel under no yoke.
旷蕩亦所便。
Still looking for some more secluded sight,
幽尋未云畢，
I see from villages rise evening smoke.
墟落生晚煙。
Come back, I write down my impression deep,
歸來記所歷，
Musing o'er it, I pass a sleepless night.
耿耿清不眠。
Nor do the devoted monks take their sleep,
道人亦未寢，
They sit in meditation by lamplight.
孤燈同夜禪。
A lonely lamp shares the night in meditation.
