歸去來兮，
Leaving My Hall of Snow
吾歸何處？
Why not go home?
萬里家在岷峨。
Where shall I go today?
百年強半，
My home in Eyebrow Mountain is thousand miles away.
來日苦無多。
Fifty years old, I have not many days to come.
坐見黃州再閏，
Living here for four years,
兒童盡、吳語楚歌。
My children sing the Southern song.
山中友，
Villagers and mountaineers
鷄豚社酒，
With meat and wine ask me to stay
相勸老東坡。
In Eastern Slope for long.
云何？
What shall I say
當此去，
When I've left here?
人生底事，
How will my life appear?
來去如梭。
Just as a shuttle comes and goes.
待閑看，
At leisure I'll see autumn breeze blows
秋風洛水清波。
And ripples the river clear.
好在堂前細柳，
I'll think of my willow tree slender.
應念我、莫剪柔柯。
Will you trim for me its twigs tender?
仍傳語，
Please tell Southern villagers not to forget
江南父老，
To bask my straw cloak and fishing net!
時與曬漁蓑！
And dry my fishing cloak in the sun from time to time!
