140. 重申联合国系统各基金、方案和专门机构的理事机构应采取适当行动，按照第56/201号决议第91和第92段的规定，全面执行本决议；
Reaffirms that the governing bodies of the funds, programmes and specialized agencies of the United Nations development system should take appropriate actions for the full implementation of the present resolution, in line with paragraphs 91 and 92 of resolution 56/201;
141. 请秘书长在与联合国系统各基金、方案和专门机构协商之后，向经济及社会理事会2008年实质性会议提交一份关于适当管理进程的报告，其中包括全面执行本决议的明确准则、指标、基准和时间表，确定通过执行本决议所要取得的成果，而执行方式应能充分监测和评价这些成果，还需要为执行本决议启动部门间和机构间的措施；
Requests the Secretary-General, after consultation with the funds, programmes and specialized agencies of the United Nations system, to submit a report to the Economic and Social Council, at its substantive session of 2008, on an appropriate management process, containing clear guidelines, targets, benchmarks and time frames for the full implementation of the present resolution, that defines results to be achieved through the implementation of the present resolution in a format that will allow for adequate monitoring and evaluation of these results, and interdepartmental and inter-agency measures that need to be set in motion, for the implementation of the present resolution;
142. 又请秘书长根据联合国发展系统各基金、方案和专门机构提供的资料，向经济及社会理事会2009年和2010年实质性会议提供详细报告，说明为落实关于三年期全面政策审查的本决议而取得的成果、采取的措施和所做的工作，以评价本决议的执行情况，确保本决议得到全面执行；
Also requests the Secretary-General, on the basis of information provided by the funds, programmes and specialized agencies of the United Nations development system, to submit to the Economic and Social Council, at its substantive sessions of 2009 and 2010, detailed reports on results achieved and measures and processes implemented in follow-up to the present resolution on the triennial comprehensive policy review in order to evaluate the implementation of the resolution, with a view to ensuring its full implementation;
143. 还请秘书长通过经济及社会理事会向大会第六十五届会议提交一份报告，通过利用有关文件等方式，在三年期政策审查框架内，全面分析本决议的执行情况，并提出适当建议。
Further requests the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly at its sixty-fifth session, through the Economic and Social Council, a comprehensive analysis of the implementation of the present resolution in the context of the triennial comprehensive policy review, inter alia, by making use of relevant documentation, and to make appropriate recommendations.

从2007年9月到2009年2月，欧洲地名项目打算利用欧洲联盟电子目录方案的资助，建立全欧洲地名虚拟数据库，通过该数据库，各国测绘机构所设立和更新的国家地名数据库将链接起来以备检索。
From September 2007 to February 2009 the EuroGeoNames project intends to realize, with funding under the European Union e-Contents programme, a virtual Europe-wide geographical names database in which national geographical names databases built and kept up to date by national mapping agencies will be linked and available for queries.
欧洲并非所有的国家测绘机构都提供能进行地名查询的因特网服务，因此，对于目前提供地名的概念、组织和技术结构紊乱的状况，预期本项目将具有予以统一的作用。
As not all national mapping agencies in Europe have an Internet service that can be consulted regarding their geographical names, this project is expected to have a unifying influence on the present disarray of conceptual, organizational and technical structures according to which geographical names are made available.

The present report describes the elaboration of an information model based on the user/business requirements that were identified in Workpackage 2 (User/business requirements) of the EuroGeoNames project.

This information model has been defined pursuant to a shared vision of the necessary attributes and a functionality that will enable the execution of the envisaged tasks/queries.

The European infrastructure and services for the exploitation of public sector geographical names data sources will be built upon this data model, which is to be based on the above-mentioned information model.
