Ms. Begum said that, despite the country's stated efforts to prohibit slavery and all forms of human trafficking, there were reports of a high incidence of trafficking in Serbia, especially among the minority communities and internally displaced persons.

Furthermore, traffickers were rarely prosecuted and convicted.
