初六：濡其尾吝。

The second NINE, undivided, shows its subject dragging back his (carriage-) wheel.With firmness and correctness there will be good fortune.
六三：未济征凶利涉大川。
If you have not fulfilled your task, you will have misfortune; if you go on, you will have misfortune.It is time to cross a great river.
九四：贞吉悔亡震用伐鬼方三年有赏于大国。
Perseverance brings good fortune; regret will disappear.When you attack the enemy with a strong army, it will be conquered within three years.
六五：贞吉无悔君子之光有孚吉。
Perseverance brings good fortune; there will be no regret about it.The gentleman's brilliance lies in sincerity.There will be good fortune.
上九：有孚于饮酒无咎濡其首有孚失是。§
The topmost NINE, undivided, shows its subject full of confidence and therefore feasting (quietly).There will be no error.(If he) cherish this confidence, till he (is like the fox who) gets his head immersed, it will fail of what is right.
