Which rises slowly from behind the mound.
When hanging clouds begin to move and run,
The rain comes rushing to the arid ground.
The gentle breezes crush the stalwart grass;
The frost has made trees quiver in the breeze.
Luxuriant leaves begin to fall en masse;
The forest stands at last with barren trees.
When I was young, I said the days were slow;
Now I am old, I say the days are short.
My aging years have worried me with woe;
I'll follow Jizhu, leaving in consort.
