圭璋虽特达，
Although the jade and pearl are dear on earth,
明月难暗投。
Placed in the darkness, no one knows their worth.
潜颖怨青阳，
The corner crops complain about sunshine;
陵苕哀素秋。
The mountain plants complain of chilly sign.
悲来侧丹心，
The thought of this ill fate fills me with woe;
零泪缘缨流。
Down the ribbons teardrops quietly flow.
