人生归有道，
There’s nothing better than this pleasant year;
衣食固其端。
By no means shall I leave my fellows here.
孰是都不营，
As food and clothing all come from the land,
而以求自安？
I’ll work hard to earn a living by my hand.
开春理常业，
The Confucian teaching rings without doubt:
岁功聊可观。
It’s Tao, not poverty, that man should care about.
