本自餐霞人。
Because he cultivates Tao time and again.
形解验默仙，
He died and then becomes an immortal man;
吐论知凝神。
His theory corresponds to what he can.
立俗连流议，
He censures all the current views at will
寻山洽隐沦。
And makes friends with the hermits in the hill.
鸾翩有时繇，
A phoenix might indeed get its wings clipped,
龙性谁能驯！
But his dragon nature can’t be stripped.
