山水含清晖。
清晖能娱人，
Mountains and streams with clear light abound. Clear light can please the wandering eye;
游子憺忘归。
出谷日尚早，
Forgetting to return, the travellers sigh. I leave the valley when the sun is still high,
入舟阳已微。
林壑敛暝色，
I board the boat as daylight begins to die. Woods and ravines take on the evening hue,
云霞收夕霏。
芰荷迭映蔚，
As clouds and mists collect the sunset dew. Water chestnuts and lotus bloom in array,
蒲稗相因依。
披拂趋南径，
Reeds and rushes lean on each other to sway. Pushing through, I hurry along the southern way,
愉悦偃东扉。
虑淡物自轻，
Joyfully I rest by the eastern doorway. With simple thoughts things become light,
意惬理无违。
寄言摄生客，
Content in heart, nothing goes against what's right. A word to those who nurture their life:
