山水含清晖。
Mountains and streams with clear light abound.
清晖能娱人，
Clear light can please the wandering eye;
游子憺忘归。
Forgetting to return, the travellers sigh.
出谷日尚早，
I leave the valley when the sun is still high,
入舟阳已微。
I board the boat as daylight begins to die.
林壑敛暝色，
Woods and ravines take on the evening hue,
云霞收夕霏。
As clouds and mists collect the sunset dew.
芰荷迭映蔚，
Water chestnuts and lotus bloom in array,
蒲稗相因依。
Reeds and rushes lean on each other to sway.
披拂趋南径，
Pushing through, I hurry along the southern way,
愉悦偃东扉。
Joyfully I rest by the eastern doorway.
虑淡物自轻，
With simple thoughts things become light,
意惬理无违。
Content in heart, nothing goes against what's right.
