Men of rank arrive from far and near,
车骑四方来。
Carried in state in gaudy coaches here.
素带曳长飙，
Their robe-belts fly wildly in gale-force gusts;
华缨结远埃。
Their hat-bands are begrimmed with distant dusts.
日中安能止？
These men of state keep busy all the day;
钟鸣犹未归。
When night bells ring, they still toil on the way.
夷世不可逢，
The wise king loves the saints more than before.
贤君信爱才。
He makes decisions in a natural way;
明虑自天断，
No slander ever yet leads him astray.
不受外嫌猜。
You’ll get promoted for deeds of good device.
