The whistling breeze gives trees an autumn sight;
皎皎明秋月。
The autumn moon is shining clear and bright.
含情易为盈，
Like the moon which has its wax and wane,
遇物难可歇。
Human thought is difficult to strain.
积疴谢生虑，
I'll stop cares as I'm ridden with disease;
寡欲罕所阙。
Free from desires and lust, I'm easy to please.
资此永幽栖，
As my sojourn in my town will prolong,
各勉日新志，
Our parting at this moment will be long.
音尘慰寂蔑。
We wish each other happiness every day
