晨积展游眺。
I start to view the morning scenery then.
孤客伤逝湍，
Boat farers are saddend when the rills flow deep;
徒旅苦奔峭。
Road travellers are tired when the hills rise steep.
石浅水潺湲，
In deeper bar, rapidly the water flows;
日落山照耀。
At sunset mountains shroud themselves in glows.
荒林纷沃若，
In the verdant forest that is green and wild,
哀禽相叫啸。
The birds are wailing in voices soft and mild.
遭物悼迁斥，
On sight of this, I grieve o'er my sad fate,
存期得要妙。
Yet hope provides me with the wit to wait.
既秉上皇心，
Since I've learned the core of ancient Tao,
岂屑末代消。
I do not care about ridicule now.
目睹严子濑，
I watch the bar afar where Yan Guang fishes,
想属任公钓。
Dreaming of the fish as huge as wishes.
谁谓古今殊，
Who says that there exists an idea gap?
异代可同调。
Different people may share the same mishap.
潜虬媚幽姿，
A hidden dragon lies in wait at ease;
飞鸿响远音。
A soaring wild goose warbles in the breeze.
薄霄愧云浮，
Unlike the wild goose, I can't quietly lie;
栖川作渊沉。
Unlike the dragon, I cannot soar to the sky.
进德智所拙，
To rise in ranks, I am too proud to yield;
退耕力不任。
Meanwhile, I am too weak to plough the field.
狗禄反穷海，
To seek office, I come to a wretched place,
