开轩灭华烛，
My tranquil room is filled with fresh cool air.
月露皓已盈。
I open windows and blow out candlelight,
独夜无物役，
To find the full moon crystal clear and bright.
寝者亦云宁。
I spend the night alone without my cares,
忽获愁霖唱，
Like those who sleep, free from mundane affairs.
怀劳奏所诚。
As soon as I read your poem
叹彼行旅艰，
On Sad Rain,
深兹眷言情。
I feel fraternal love and cordial vein.
伊余虽寡慰，
I'm worried at your trip from port to port
殷忧暂为轻。
And deeply moved by your sincere home thought.
牵率酬嘉藻，
Although I'm ridden with profoundest grief,
长揖愧吾生。
Your poem gives me temporary relief.
