日月望君归，
And woolen robes are all that they possess. Day after day I long for your return here,

荆扬春早和，
However, year after year you ne'er appear. Here in Jingzhou and Yangzhou, spring is mild;
幽冀犹霜霰。
北寒妾已知，
There in Youzhou and Jizhou, cold runs wild. I know that it is cold up in the north,
南心君不见。
谁为道辛苦，
But you don’t see what warmth of heart pours forth. Who will tell my man o'er a thousand li?
寄情双飞燕。
形追杼煎丝，
Two sparrows are to carry words for me. I know that you're as busy as a bee,
颜落风催电。
容华一朝尽，
While my beauty wanes as fast as can be. Although my charming looks may fade some day,
惟余心不变。
My loyalty to you will remain the same way.
