鼓声随听绝，
I look forth from the ferry with the crowd. The parting drumbeat echoes for a while;

The boat departs and is going with the cloud. The birds still linger in the mooring ground
林寒正下叶，
钓晚欲收纶。
While in the pavilion there's no man or wine. In the cold the leaves are falling all around
如何相背远，
江汉与城阗。
And anglers are withdrawing fishing-line. How far away can each of us be found?
