(i) 治癒、減輕或預防影響人類的疾病、衰弱或傷殘；或
" (i) the cure, alleviation or prevention of; or"
(ii) 照顧患有或受困於影響人類的疾病、衰弱或傷殘的人，包括照顧 在分娩前、分娩中及分娩後的婦女；
" (ii) the care of persons suffering from orsubjected to,any disease, infirmity or disability affecting human beings (including the care of women before, during and after child birth);"

" (f) the promotion of the moral, social and physical well- being of the community; and"

“慈善組織”(charity) 指為慈善目的而以契據或其他方式成立的信 託或組織； (由1968年第14號第3條增補。由1974年第74號第3條修訂)
" ""charity"" (慈善組織) means any trust or organization established by deed or otherwise for a charitable purpose; (Added 14 of 1968 s. 3.

“法團”(corporation) 指按照本條例的條文成立為法團的受託人及 其職位繼任人；
" ""corporation"" (法團) means trustees incorporated in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance and their successors in office;"
“處長”(Registrar) 指公司註冊處處長；
" ""Registrar"" (處長) means the Registrar of Companies."
(1) 任何團體或慈善組織當其時獲妥為委任的受託人(人數不得少於3 人，亦不得超過7人)均可向處長申請法團註冊證書。 (由1968年第14號 第4條修訂)
" (1) The duly appointed trustees, who shall in number be not less than 3 nor more than 7, for the time being of any body of persons or charity may apply to the Registrar for a certificate of incorporation. (Amended 14 of 1968 s. 4)"
(a) 以書面作出並由該等受託人簽署；
(a) in writing signed by the trustees;
(b) 蓋上表示已繳付訂明費用的印戳；
(b) franked denoting payment of the prescribed fee;

(3) 處長可要求提供他認為適當的聲明書或其他證據，以核實申請書 內的陳述及詳情，以及可要求提供他認為適當的其他詳情、資料及證據( 如有的話)。
" (3) The Registrar may require such declaration or other evidence in verification of the statements and particulars in the application, and such other particulars, information and evidence, if any, as he may think fit."
(1) 凡總督發給、取消或修訂證書，處長須安排在憲報刊登有關此事 的公告。
" (1) When the Governor has granted, cancelled or amended a certificate, the Registrar shall cause notice thereof to be published in the Gazette."
(2) 證書須為已遵從本條例中與如上述般成立為法團有關的所有初步 規定的確證，而該證書的日期須當作為成立為法團的日期。
" (2) A certificate shall be conclusive evidence that all preliminary requirements of this Ordinance in respect of such incorporation have been complied with, and the date of such certificate shall be deemed to be the date on which incorporation took placcia
(1) 法團的法團印章須具有處長批准的圖樣，以及須具有法團的名稱 。
" (1) The common seal of a corporation shall bear such device as may be approved by the Registrar, and shall bear the name of the corporation."
(2) 未得處長同意，不得更改印章，處長如信納該項更改是有需要或 合宜的，則可在訂明費用繳付後，同意作出該項更改。
" (2) The seal shall not be changed except with the consent of the Registrar, who, if satisfied that such change is necessary or desirable, may upon payment of the prescribed fee give his consent thereto."
(1) 總辦事處的座落地點如有變更，須在該項變更後28天內將該項變 更通知處長。
" (1) Notice of any change in the situation of the principal office shall be given not later than 28 days after the change, to the Registrar."
(3) 在受託人去世、辭職或被免職後28天內，法團須將有關此事的通 知書，連同處長所要求的證據一併送交處長。 (由1966年第13號附表修 訂)
" (3) Within 28 days after the death, resignation or removal of a trustee, a notification thereof by the corporation shall be delivered to the Registrar together with such evidence as the Registrar may require. (Amended 13 of 1966 Schedule)"
(1) 處長須備存載有所有法團的登記冊，並須保管該等法團申請法團 註冊證書的申請書以及就該等申請而呈交的所有文件。
" (1) The Registrar shall maintain a register of all corporations and shall have custody of all applications for certificates of incorporation of such corporations, and all documents submitted in connection therewith."
(2) 上述登記冊須於辦公時間內供已繳付訂明費用的公眾查閱。
(2) Such register shall be open to inspection by the general public during office hours on payment of the prescribed fee.
附加於證書內的所有條件及指示，須如有關團體或慈善組織的信託般 ，對身為該團體或慈善組織的受託人的法團具約束力，並如該信託般由該 法團予以履行或遵守。
All conditions and directions inserted in any certificate shall be binding upon and performed or observed by the corporation as trusts of the body of persons or charity for which it is trustee.
