(a) 該船隻的現行牌照；
(a) the current licence of the vessel;
(b) 該船隻的現行驗船證明書；及
(b) the current certificate of survey of the vessel; and
(c) 訂明費用(如有的話)。
(c) the prescribed fee (if any).
(2) 接獲第(1)款所提述的通知書後，處長須於承讓人有此要求時─
" (2) Upon receipt of the notice referred to in paragraph (1) the Director shall, if so required by the transferee-"
(a) 發出一個在承讓人名義之下的新牌照，或在現有的現行牌照上適 當地批註；及
(a) issue a new licence in the name of the transferee or appropriately endorse the existing current licence; and
(b) 將該船隻的現行驗船證明書交付予承讓人。
(b) deliver the current certificate of survey of the vessel to the transferee.
(3) 任何人沒有遵從第(1)款任何條文，即屬犯罪，一經定罪，可處罰 款$2000。 (1974年第255號法律公告)
(3) Any person who fails to comply with any of the provisions of paragraph (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $2000. (L.N. 255 of 1974)
(1) 根據本規例獲發牌照的任何船隻的擁有人，如因任何理由而不再 需要該船隻繼續如此領有牌照，則他須於停止需要領牌後7天內，採用從 海事處取得的表格，向處長交付一份有關此事的通知書，並將該船隻的現 行牌照交回處長。
" (1) If for any reason the owner of any vessel licensed under these regulations ceases to require that the vessel shall continue to be so licensed, he shall within 7 days after the cessation of such requirement deliver, in a form to be obtained from the Marine Department, notice thereof to the Director, and shall return to the Director the current licence of the vessel."

為遵從本規例任何條文而作的任何檢驗，除非由政府驗船師進行，以 及除非訂明費用(如有的話)已予繳付，否則不屬有效檢驗。
No survey for the purpose of compliance with any of the provisions of these regulations shall be a valid survey unless conducted by a Government surveyor and unless the prescribed fee (if any) has been paid.
(1) 依據本規例任何條文而發出的每一份驗船證明書均須穩固地裝於 框架內，並在該證明書的有效期內時刻於該證明書所關乎的船隻上某個顯 眼部分陳示。
(1) Every certificate of survey issued pursuant to any of the provisions of these regulations shall be securely framed and exhibited at all times during the validity thereof in some conspicuous part of the vessel to which such certificate relates.
(2) 任何船隻的擁有人及船長沒有遵從第(1)款任何條文，均屬犯罪， 一經定罪，可各處罰款$5000。 (1974年第255號法律公告)
(2) The owner and master of any vessel who fails to comply with any of the provisions of paragraph (1) shall each be guilty of an offence and shall each be liable on conviction to a fine of $5000. (L.N. 255 of 1974)
為遵從本規例任何條文而發出的每一份驗船證明書，均須採用附表2訂 明表格中的表格4發出；而該證明書所規定填寫的各項詳情，如屬適用於 有關的船隻，均須在證明書內填上。
" Every certificate of survey issued for the purposes of compliance with any of the provisions of these regulations shall be in Form 4 of the forms prescribed in the Second Schedule; and the particulars required for the completion of such certificate shall, so far as may be applicable to the vessel in question, be inserted therein."
(1) 為在第12條所提述的任何驗船證明書內，填寫任何小輪或渡輪船 隻可運載的最高乘客人數，政府驗船師須顧及該小輪或渡輪船隻所能妥為 提供的淨艙位及下列準則─
(1) For the purpose of completion of any certificate of survey referred to in regulation 12 in respect of the maximum number of passengers which may be carried in any launch or ferry vessel the Government surveyor shall have regard to the clear space properly available in such launch or ferry vessel and to the following scales-

" (a) the scale shall be in the proportion of 1 passenger for every 0.65 square metres on the main deck, subject to the condition that not less than 70% of the maximum number of passengers are provided with fixed seating;"
(b) 主甲板以上每一甲板的最高許可乘客人數，是將以平方米計算的 淨艙位面積除以0.65所得的整數，或點算所提供的固定乘客座位的數目， 以較低者為準； (1994年第577號法律公告)
" (b) the maximum number of passengers permissible on each deck above the main deck shall be the whole number obtained by dividing the clear space in square metres by o.65 or counting the number of fixed passenger seats provided, whichever is the less;"
(c) 儘管有(a)及(b)段的規定，處長可容許僅在指明遮蔽水域內往來 航行的渡輪船隻運載下述人數的乘客，該人數是將以平方米計算的淨艙位 面積除以下列數值所得的數目：就主甲板上開敞的乘客艙位而言，除以 0.46，而就主甲板上的封閉艙室而言，或就主甲板以上所有甲板上的其他 艙位及艙室而言，則除以0.65； (1994年第577號法律公告)
" (c) notwithstanding subparagraphs (a) and (b), the Director may allow a ferry vessel plying solely within the Specified Sheltered Waters to carry the number of passengers equal to the number obtained by dividing the clear space in square metres as follows, namely by 0.46 in the case of the open passenger spaces on the main deck, and 0.65 in the case of the enclosed cabins on the main deck, or in the case of other spaces and cabins on all decks above the main deck;"
(d) 除經處長批准外，主甲板以下不允許運載乘客； (1994年第577 號法律公告)
" (d) except with the approval of the Director, the carriage of passengers below the main deck is not permitted;"
(e) 現有開敞船艇的準則，衡量由政府驗船師所決定的固定座位限額 而釐定。 (1994年第577號法律公告)
(e) the scale for existing open boats shall be determined by the measure of the fixed seating capacity as determined by a Government surveyor. (L.N. 577 of 1994)
(2) 如小輪或渡輪船隻的擁有人要求證明該小輪或渡輪船隻可運載低 於按照第(1)款條文得出的最高許可人數，則須在驗船證明書內填上上述 較低人數。
" (2) Where any owner of a launch or ferry vessel requires that such launch or ferry vessel be certified for the carriage of a lesser number of persons than the maximum number permissible in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (1), such lesser number shall be inserted in the certificate of survey."
(3) 如政府驗船師在顧及某小輪或渡輪船隻從其類型及穩定性方面考 慮的安全度之後，認為不應證明該小輪或渡輪船隻可運載按照第(1)款條 文得出的最高許可人數，則須在驗船證明書內填上上述驗船師所指示的較 低人數。
" (3) Where any Government surveyor considers, having regard to safety in relation to the type and stability of any launch or ferry vessel, that such launch or ferry vessel ought not to be certified for the carriage of the maximum number of persons permissible in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (1), such lesser number as the surveyor may direct shall be inserted in the certificate of survey."
(1) 任何小輪或渡輪船隻的擁有人須申請每年或每隔一段處長就個別 情況而藉命令規定的較短期間，將該小輪或渡輪船隻檢驗。
(1) The owner of any launch or ferry vessel shall apply for such launch or ferry vessel to be surveyed yearly or at such lesser intervals as may be ordered by the Director in any particular case.
(2) 如經過第(1)款條文所規定的檢驗後，驗船師信納有關小輪或渡輪 船隻在各方面均屬合適，則他須據此發出一份驗船證明書。
" (2) If upon any survey required by the provisions of paragraph (1), the surveyor is satisfied as to the fitness in all respects of the launch or ferry vessel in question he shall issue a certificate of survey accordingly."
(3) 如經過第(1)款條文所規定的任何檢驗後，驗船師不信納有關小輪 或渡輪船隻在各方面均屬合適，則須向其擁有人作出為致使該小輪或渡輪 船隻達到合適的各項要求，並且不發出驗船證明書，直至該等要求符合為 止。
" (3) If upon any survey required by the provisions of paragraph (1), the surveyor is not satisfied that the launch or ferry vessel in question is fit in all respect, he shall declare to the owner thereof his requirements to render such launch or ferry vessel fit and shall until such requirements are satisfied withhold the issue of a certificate of survey."
