Kaidi, the grandfather of Zhang Liang the marquis of Liu, served as prime minister under Marquis Zhao of Hán, King Xuanhui, and King Xiang’ai; and his father, Ping, served as prime minister under King Xi55 and King Daohui, dying in the twenty-third year of the latter’s reign.
