山下蘭芽短浸溪，
Visit to the Temple of Clear Fountain
松間沙路淨無泥。
on the West-flowing Stream of Orchid
蕭蕭暮雨子規啼。
In the brook below the hill is drowned short orchid bud;
誰道人生無再少？
On the sandy path between pine-trees there's no mud.
門前流水尚能西。
Shower by shower falls the rain while cuckoos sing.
休將白髮唱黃雞！
