The Committee was informed that the rental rate of $106 per square metre per year was based on a survey conducted to see what was paid by agencies outside the compound; relocation to the ECA complex was therefore an attractive option because of the inclusion in the rental cost of utilities, conference services, security, catering, travel services and so on.
