After the Conference, the Government of Mongolia and the office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Mongolia started a project to support the follow-up to the recommendations of the Fifth International Conference and to assist Mongolia in the implementation process until the Sixth International Conference is held in Doha in 2006.

Accordingly, Mongolia will establish the baselines and benchmarks for the democratic process in the country.
