At the 232nd meeting, under “Other matters”, the observer of Germany spoke on behalf of the European Union and expressed concern regarding the implementation of the “Settlement Initiative for Employees of Foreign Embassies, Foreign Consular Offices and International Organizations in the United States” recently announced by the United States Internal Revenue Service for United States citizens and permanent residents working for missions.
