本條例可引稱為《公共收入保障條例》。
This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Revenue Protection Ordinance.
如總督批准條例草案或決議提交立法局，而該條例草案或決議一旦成 為法律，會使－
If the Governor approves of the introduction into the Legislative Council of a bill or resolution whereby, if such bill or resolution were to become law-
(a) 任何稅項、費用、差餉或其他稅收項目得以徵收、撤銷或更改； 或
(a) any duty, tax, fee, rate or other item of revenue would be imposed, removed or altered; or
(b) 任何稅項、費用、差餉或其他稅收項目的寬免得以批准、更改或 撤銷；或
(b) any allowance in respect of a duty, tax, fee, rate or other item of revenue would be granted, altered or removed; or
(c) 與稅項、費用、差餉或其他稅收項目有關的行政或一般條文得以 制定、更改或撤銷，
(c) any administrative or general provision in relation to a duty, tax, fee, rate or other item of revenue would be enacted, altered or removed,
則總督可作出命令，使該條例草案或決議的所有條文在該命令有效期 內具有十足法律效力。
the Governor may make an order giving full force and effect of law to all the provisions of the bill or resolution so long as such order remains in force.

(1) Every order made under this Ordinance shall come into force immediately upon the signing thereof by the Governor unless some other time be specified in the order for the coming into force thereof, in which case the order shall come into force at the t and administrati
(a) 該命令是就某條例草案或決議作出的，而憲報公布立法局已否決 該條例草案或決議；或
(a) upon the notification in the Gazette of the rejection by the Legislative Council of the bill or resolution in respect of which the order was made; or
(b) 憲報公布該條例草案、決議或命令已被撤回；或 (由1931年第37 號第2條修訂)
(b) upon the notification in the Gazette of the withdrawal of the bill or resolution or order; or (Amended 37 of 1931 s. 2)
(c) 該條例草案或決議按一般方式成為法律，不論有否修改；或
(c) upon the bill or resolution, with or without modification, becoming law in the ordinary manner; or
(d) 自該命令生效日期起計的4個月屆滿，
(d) upon the expiration of 4 months from the day on which the order came into force,
本條例可引稱為《建築物條例(新界適用)條例》。
This Ordinance may be cited as the Buildings Ordinance (Application to the New Territories) Ordinance.
(1) 在本條例中，除文意另有所指外─
(1) In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires-
“露台”(balcony) 具有《建築物(規劃)規例》*(第123章，附屬法例 )第2條給予該詞的涵義。
""balcony"" (露台) has the meaning assigned to it by regulation 2 of the Building (Planning) Regulations (Cap 123 sub. leg.);
“建築工程”(building works) 具有《建築物條例》(第123章)第2條 給予該詞的涵義，但不包括地盤平整工程、排水工程或海堤的建造；
""building works"" (建築工程) has the meaning assigned to it by section 2 of the Buildings Ordinance (Cap 123) save that it shall not include site formation works, drainage works, or the construction of seawalls;
“簷篷”(canopy) 具有《建築物(規劃)規例》*(第123章，附屬法例) 第2條給予該詞的涵義；
""canopy"" (簷篷) has the meaning assigned to it by regulation 2 of the Building (Planning) Regulations (Cap 123 sub. leg.);
“署長”(Director) 指地政總署署長及任何根據第11條獲其授權的人 ； (由1993年第291號法律公告修訂)
""Director"" (署長) means the Director of Lands and any person authorized by him under section 11; (Amended L.N. 291 of 1993)
“地區”(District) 具有《區議會條例》(第366章)給予該詞的涵義 ；
""District"" (地區) has the meaning assigned to it in the District Boards Ordinance (Cap 366);
“高度”(height) 就任何建築物而言，指該建築物由某地面最低點的 水平線量度至其屋頂最高點的水平線的垂直高度，但第(4)款另有規定者 除外；
""height"" (高度) in relation to any building means the perpendicular height of the building measured from the level of its lowest point at ground level to, subject to subsection (4), the level of the highest point of its roof;
(a) 構成建築物的一部分，用以分隔鄰接的建築物或為此而建造的； 及
(a) forming part of a building used or constructed to be used for the purpose of separating adjoining buildings; and
(i) 由建築物的最低層的樓面連續伸延至屋頂底面；及
(i) from the floor level of the lowest floor of the building up to the underside of the roof, and
