(a) 在作為上述代表而行使其職能時，以及在其往返會議地點的旅途中 ，享有個人被逮捕或扣留及其私人行李被檢取的豁免權，以及一切文牘及 文件的不容侵犯權；
(a) while exercising their functions as such and during their journeys to and from the place of meeting, immunity from personal arrest or detention and from seizure of their personal baggage and inviolability for all papers and documents;

(b) immunity from suit and legal process of every kind in respect of words spoken or written and things done or omitted to be done by them in their capacity as representatives.
(2) 凡某形式的稅項的負擔取決於居住地時，任何代表為履行其職責而 身在香港的任何期間，不當作在香港居住。
(2) Where the incidence of any form of taxation depends upon residence, representatives shall not be deemed to be resident in Hong Kong during any period when they are present in Hong Kong for the discharge of their duties.
(3) 就本條的適用範圍而言，“代表”(representatives) 一詞除包括 該等代表外，須當作包括在該等代表作為上述代表時，伴隨該等代表的官 方職員中的以下成員─
(3) For the purposes of the application of this Article the expression “representatives” (代表) shall be deemed to include, in addition to the representatives, the following members of their official staffs accompanying them as such representatives-
而本條例附表1第IV部不得實施以將特權或豁免權授予任何代表的職員 中並非上述種類的人。
and Part IV of the First Schedule to the Ordinance shall not operate so as to confer privileges or immunities on the staffs of representatives other than on those persons falling within the above-mentioned descriptions.
(4) 本條以上各段條文並不將豁免權或特權授予任何作為在香港的女皇 陛下政府的代表的人或作為該名代表的職員的人，或任何屬英國公民、英 國屬土公民或英國海外公民的人。
(4) The provision of the preceding paragraphs of this Article shall not confer any immunity or privilege on any person as the representative of Her Majesty's Government in Hong Kong or as a member of the staff of such representative or on any person who is a British citizen, a British Dependent Territories citizen or a British Overseas citizen.

Except in so far as in any particular case any privilege or immunity is waived by the Organization, the Director General shall be accorded in respect of himself, his spouse and his children under the age of 21 the like immunity from suit and legal process, the like inviolability of residence and the like exemption or relief from taxes, other than income tax, as is accorded in England to an envoy of a foreign sovereign power accredited to Her Majesty, his spouse and children, and exemption from income tax in respect of emoluments received by them as officers of the Organization.

WHEREAS it is expedient that effect should be given in the Colony to the provisions of certain Treaties of Commerce and Navigation mentioned in the Schedule hereto:
本條例可引稱為《領事館官員管理遺產條例》。
This Ordinance may be cited as the Administration of Estates by Consular Officers Ordinance.
凡附表第1欄所述任何國家的任何子民或公民─
Whenever any subject or citizen of any State mentioned in the first column of the Schedule-
(a) 在香港境內去世，或
(a) dies within the Colony, or
(b) 在香港境外去世，遺下財產在香港境內，
(b) dies outside the Colony, leaving property within the Colony,
而在其去世時，並無依法有權管理該死者遺產的人在香港，則該國家在 香港的領事、副領事或領事代理人可管有及保管該死者的財產，並可運用 該等財產以支付該死者的債項及殯殮費，以及將盈餘部分為有權享有其利 益的人而保留；但該領事、副領事及領事代理人須就該死者的財產立即申 請並有權從法院獲得遺產管理書，而遺產管理書受限制的方式及時間則視 乎法院覺得適當者而定。
and no person is present in the Colony at the time of his death who is rightfully entitled to administer the estate of such deceased person, the consul, vice-consul, or consular agent of such State within the Colony may take possession and have the custody of the property of such deceased person, and may apply the same in payment of his debts and funeral expenses, and may retain the surplus for the benefit of the persons entitled thereto; but such consul, vice-consul, or consular agent shall immediately apply for, and shall be entitled to obtain from the court, letters of administration of the property of such deceased person, limited in such manner and for such time as to the court shall seem fit.

The Governor may by order notified in the Gazette under the hand of the Chief Secretary vary the Schedule- (Amended L.N. 226 of 1976)
(a) 當與附表內任何國家訂立的條約內附表所述的條文失效時，從附表 刪除該國家；
(a) by deleting therefrom any State when the provision of the Treaty with that State mentioned in the Schedule shall have ceased to have effect;

This Ordinance may be cited as the Matrimonial Proceedings and Property Ordinance.
