(3) 一份經簽署和審計的帳目報表，連同核數師的報告(如有的話)，以 及受託人就經審計的帳目所涵蓋期間內的基金管理作出的報告，須不遲於 上述期間終結後的第一個12月31日呈交立法局會議席上省覽，或在總督所 容許的較後日期呈交立法局會議席上省覽。 (由1991年第72號第2條修訂 )
(3) A copy of the signed and audited statement of accounts together with the auditor's report, if any, and a report by the trustee on the administration of the fund during the period covered by the audited accounts shall be laid on the table of the Legislative Council not later than 31st day of December next following the end of such period, or so soon thereafter as the Governor may allow. (Amended 72 of 1991 s. 2)
(1) 管理基金的費用，但不包括根據第8條第(2)款支付的薪金及費用， 須從香港政府一般收入中撥款支付：
(1) The cost of the administration of the fund, other than the salaries and fees paid under subsection (2) of section 8, shall be a charge upon the general revenue of the Colony:
但財政司可指示從基金收益中，徵收一項監管年費，以撥入香港政府一 般收入，數目由財政司釐定。
Provided that the Financial Secretary may direct that an annual supervision fee to be determined by him shall be charged against the income of the fund and paid into the general revenue of the Colony.
(2) 根據第(1)款的但書所徵收的費用─
(2) The fee charged under the proviso to subsection (1) shall-
(a) 須就由歸屬日期至1968年3月31日的期間及其後就每段截至3月31日 為止的一年期間徵收；及
(a) be in respect of the period from the vesting day to 31 March 1968, and thereafter in respect of every period of one year ending on 31 March; and
(b) 不得超過有關期間內基金收益的百分之二點五。
(b) not exceed two and a half per cent of the income of the fund over the relevant period.
本條例的條文不影響亦不得當作影響女皇陛下、其世襲繼承人或其他繼 承人的權利或任何政治體或法人團體或任何其他人的權利，但本條例所述 及者和經由、透過他們或在他們之下作申索者除外。
Nothing in this Ordinance shall affect or be deemed to affect the rights of Her Majesty the Queen, Her Heirs or Successors, or the rights of any body politic or corporate or of any other person except such as are mentioned in this Ordinance and those claiming by, from or under them.
本條例旨在設立信託基金，就各級警務人員(包括輔助警務人員)的子女 的一般教育提供協助及設施，以及就所有該等警務人員的一般利益提供福 利，就該基金的妥善管理及就與上述事宜相關的目的訂定條文。
To establish a trust fund for providing assistance in, and facilities for, the general education of the children of police officers of all ranks, including auxiliary police, and for welfare purposes of general benefit to all such police officers, and for the due administration of such fund and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid.
本條例可引稱為《警察教育及福利信託基金條例》。
This Ordinance may be cited as the Police Education and Welfare Trust Ordinance.
在本條例中，除文意另有所指外─
In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires-
“處長”(Commissioner) 指警務處處長；
“Commissioner” (處長) means the Commissioner of Police;
“委員會”(committee) 指根據第6條設立的委員會；
“committee” (委員會) means the committee established under section 6;
“基金”(fund) 指由第3條設立的信託基金；
“fund” (基金) means the trust fund established by section 3 ;
“受託人”(trustee) 指作為基金受託人的處長；
“trustee” (受托人) means the Commissioner as trustee of the fund;
“歸屬日期”(vesting day) 指本條例的生效日期。
“vesting day” (歸屬日期) means the date of commencement of this Ordinance.
(1) 現設立一個信託基金，名為警察教育及福利信託基金。
(1) There is hereby established a trust fund to be known as the Police Education and Welfare Trust.
(2) 受託人須以信託並在本條例所載條文的規限下，持有基金。
(2) The trustee shall hold the fund upon the trusts and subject to the provisions contained in this Ordinance.
(3) 基金由以下各項組成─
(3) The fund shall consist of-
(a) 主要為協助皇家香港警隊及皇家香港輔助警隊各級警務人員的子女 的教育，以及為上述兩支警隊的一般利益提供其他福利，而由英皇御准香 港賽馬會於1967年5月27日捐贈的款項在歸屬日期的結餘； (由1969年第 29號第2條修訂)
(a) the balance on the vesting day of the moneys donated by the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club on 27 May 1967 primarily for assisting in the education of the children of police officers of all ranks of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force and the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force and also for other welfare purposes of general benefit to both Forces; (Amended 29 of 1969 s. 2)
(b) 在歸屬日期前藉使用任何如此捐贈的款項而獲取的其他資產；及
(b) such other assets as may have been acquired before the vesting day by the use of any moneys so donated; and
(c) 在歸屬日期或該日之後─
(c) such further moneys and assets as may, on or after the vesting day, be-
(i) 向受託人捐贈、認捐或遺贈並獲受託人接受的其他款項及資產；或
(i) donated, subscribed or bequeathed to, and accepted by, the trustee; or
(ii) 受託人以其他方式獲取的其他款項及資產。
(ii) otherwise acquired by the trustee.
(1) 為施行本條例，當其時執行處長職責的人為基金的受託人，並為一 個單一法團(在本條中稱為法團)，須以“The Trustee of the Police Education and Welfare.Trust”的名稱命名，而且以該名稱永久延續， 且在任何法院可以該名稱起訴與被起訴。
(1) For the purposes of this Ordinance, the person for the time being performing the duties of the office of the Commissioner shall be the trustee of the fund and shall be a corporation sole (in this section called the corporation) and shall have the name “The Trustee of the Police Education and Welfare Trust”, and in that name shall have perpetual succession and may sue and be sued in any court.
