(3) 印章須由會長保管，或他不在香港時由副會長保管。
(3) The seal shall be kept in the custody of the President, or in his absence from Hong Kong, in the custody of the Vice- President.
法團的事務須由常務委員會管理，而法團的所有權力可由常務委員會行 使，但如本條例或章程另有規定則除外。
The business of the Corporation shall be managed by the Standing Committee and all the powers of the Corporation shall be exercisable by the Standing Committee except so far as this Ordinance or the constitution otherwise requires.
" 未具法團地位的“The Methodist Church, Hong Kong”的原有章程 即為法團的章程，但該章程可隨時和不時按照當其時有效的章程條文，予 以更改或修訂。"
The existing constitution of the unincorporated “The Methodist Church, Hong Kong” shall be the constitution of the Corporation, but the same may be changed or amended at any time and from time to time in accordance with its provisions for the time being in force.
本條例的條文不影響亦不得當作影響女皇陛下、其世襲繼承人或其他繼 承人的權利或任何政治體或法人團體或任何其他人的權利，但本條例所述 及者和經由、透過他們或在他們之下作申索者除外。
Nothing in this Ordinance shall affect or be deemed to affect the rights of Her Majesty the Queen, Her Heirs or Successors, or the rights of any body politic or corporate or of any other persons except such as are mentioned in this Ordinance and those claiming by, from or under them.
本條例可引稱為《香港海事訓練隊條例》(有關文字因已失時效而略去) 。
This Ordinance may be cited as the Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps Ordinance (words omitted as spent).
在本條例中，除文意另有所指外─
(1) In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires-
“分區委員會”(Area Committee) 指根據第3條成立為法團的香港海事 訓練隊分區委員會；
“Area Committee” (分區委員會) means the Area Committee of the Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps incorporated under section 3;
“章程”(constitution) 指第7條所提述的章程。
“constitution” (章程) means the constitution referred to in section 7;
“訓練隊”(Corps) 指香港海事訓練隊；
“Corps” (訓練隊) means the Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps.
香港海事訓練隊(Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps) 分區委員會以該名稱作 為法人團體而永久延續，並可起訴與被起訴。
The Area Committee of the Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps (香港海事 訓練隊) shall in that name be a body corporate with perpetual succession and shall be capable of suing and being sued.
(1) 分區委員會須備有一個法團印章，加蓋印章須─
(1) The Area Committee shall have a common seal and the affixing of the seal shall-
(a) 由分區委員會藉決議授權或追認；及
(a) be authorized or ratified by resolution of the Area Committee; and
(b) 由以下的人簽署認證─
(b) be authenticated by-
(i) 分區委員會主席或副主席；及
(i) the signature of the Chairman or the Deputy Chairman of the Area Committee; and
(ii) 一名獲一般授權或特別授權作簽署認證的分區委員會成員。
(ii) the signature of a member of the Area Committee authorized either generally or specially to act for that purpose.
(2) 任何看來是經分區委員會蓋章而妥為簽立的文件，須獲收取為證據 ，並須當作已妥為簽立，直至相反證明成立為止。
(2) Any document purporting to be duly executed under the seal of the Area Committee shall be received in evidence and shall, until the contrary is proved, be deemed to be duly executed.
分區委員會的宗旨為─
The objects of the Area Committee are-
(a) 組織、督導和裝備訓練隊；
(a) to organize, supervise and equip the Corps;
(b) 促進香港青年的康樂、社會和教育福利；
(b) to promote the recreational, social and educational welfare of youth in Hong Kong;
(c) 為香港青年提供航海和其他有益的訓練；及
(c) to provide nautical and other beneficial training of youth in Hong Kong; and
(d) 分區委員會為香港青年的利益而決定推廣的其他宗旨，不論該等宗 旨是否附屬於和附帶於(a)及(b)段所指明的宗旨。
(d) such other objects, whether ancillary and incidental to the objects specified in paragraphs (a) and (b) or not, as the Area Committee may decide to promote for the benefit of youth in Hong Kong.
(1) 分區委員會有權為更有效地貫徹其宗旨而作出一切所需或所附帶的 事情，或作出一切有助於更有效地貫徹其宗旨或與更有效地貫徹其宗旨相 關的事情，並在不損害前述條文的一般性的原則下，尤可─
(1) The Area Committee shall have power to do all such things as are necessary for, or incidental or conducive to, or connected with, the better carrying out of its objects, and, in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, may-
(a) 獲取、承租、購買、持有和享用任何財產，以及將該等財產出售、 按揭、作押記、出租或以其他方式處置或處理；
(a) acquire, take on lease, purchase, hold and enjoy any property and sell, mortgage, charge, let or otherwise dispose of or deal with the same;
(c) 建造、提供、裝備、保養、改動、移去、拆卸、更換、擴大、改善 、維修與規管其建築物、處所、家具、設備及其他財產；
(c) erect, provide, equip, maintain, alter, remove, demolish, replace, enlarge, improve, keep in repair and regulate its buildings, premises, furniture, equipment and other property;
